Content Delivery Network (CDN)
ImageBoss caches your images on more then 150 data centers across the world to make sure they are always close to your customers.
One of the biggest mistakes when launching new online producs is that people don't realize the web is available all over the world. You have potential clients everywhere accessing your product, so having your images (and assets in general) close to the clients can speed up your page load speed and speed is strongly linked to more sales.
The image above explains basically how a CDN works. Notice that you have servers close to the customers so your files get delivered from the closest server possible. The Origin Server in our case is the ImageBoss Server. Your files are then copied to all Edge Servers and when your User accesses your page we deliver the images closest as possible to him.
